How it began
A practice I never meant
to make a life of.
The first tree was a gift — a small wisteria for my mother, copied from a photograph above the kitchen table. It took three weeks. When it was done, I could not stop looking at it.
I made another, then another. The studio has stayed small on purpose ever since: a handful of commissions at a time, my own messages answered, every base signed by hand.

Nothing here is fast. A tree is finished when the light sits right in the beads — and not a day before.
